Price:
Class dates:
During this 4 hour workshop, you will learn how to create your own stained glass sun catcher using the copper foil method from scratch, no experience necessary. Students will have the option to work from a variety of pre-made designs or work with me to create their own simple pattern. I will guide you through the process of cutting glass, grinding it to shape, foiling, and soldering your final sun catcher together to create a unique work of art! All tools and materials are provided and participants will have a wide selection of brilliant colors of glass to choose from.
Please note that creating stained glass is demanding and uses both chemicals and lead. Students will be provided with appropriate protective equipment and are required to wear closed toed shoes and recommended to wear clothing that fully covers their legs. Solo participants must be at least 18 years or older. Students ages 15+ may attend if they are taking the class with a guardian who can sign off for them.

About Me:
Amy Stewart is an artist and an aerialist living in the Pacific Northwest. She been making art since she could pick up a pencil and have since dabbled in many mediums and styles.
In 2021, she created her first stained glass piece, promptly became hooked, and started creating work for others in 2023. Much of her art is inspired by horror tropes and circus themes, a little bit mystical and a little bit macabre.
