Intro to Blacksmithing for Women, Femmes, and Thems with Mona - 11/24/2024

Have you ever wanted to try blacksmithing but felt intimidated by the usual instructors? This evening class exists to create a safe space for women, female bodied, and non binary folks to feel comfortable in learning the art of blacksmithing. In this 4 hour class we will go over shop safety, different items and tools you will be using, along with some of the core techniques and principles of blacksmithing. You will get guided through the process in forging your own wall hook, that you will get to take home after the class. So if you've ever wanted to hit metal but have been too nervous to try, this is the class for you!
