Intro to Knife Making with Glen - 5/2/25, 5/9/25, 5/16/25, 5/23/25

Learn how to make a full tang knife from blacksmithing the blade to shaping and finishing the handle.

Students will start with a pre-drilled blade blank of 1084 steel and learn the basic forging skills to draw and taper the blade. We will then heat treat the blade to harden it to become a functional knife. Next, we will grind the blade to produce a semi-smooth bevel and finally assemble and finish the handle.

The class will be four sessions on Friday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Note: This class has a prerequisite of Blacksmithing 101 or equivalent experience.
