Intro to Knife Making with Glen 5/5/26, 5/7/26, 5/12/26, 5/14/26

Learn how to make a full tang knife from blacksmithing the blade to shaping and finishing the handle.

Students will start out with a pre-drilled blade blank of 1084 steel and learn the basic forging skills to draw and taper the blade. We will then heat treat the blade to harden it to become a functional knife. Next will be grinding the blade to produce a semi smooth bevel, and finally assembling and finishing the handle.

The class will be four sessions over 2 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Note: This class has a prerequisite of Blacksmithing 101 or equivalent experience.
