Make a Reindeer with Jacqueline - 11/13/25

Experience basic welding while creating a holiday decoration! No experience required.

In this 3-hour workshop, students will learn how to safely operate a MIG welder and use an angle grinder. We will focus on three skills: making tack welds with the MIG, bending metal with a vise and polishing metal with the angle grinder. Project kits of precut metal will be provided.

Personal protection equipment (PPE) will be available, but we highly recommend that you bring your own, including protective eyewear, hearing protection and leather gloves. Please wear only cotton, wool or leather. Synthetics melt to your skin when the sparks fly.
