Wheel-Throwing 101 with Anjali - 12/22/25

Come try out wheel-throwing at Past Lives! If you haven't tried it before, don't have time to take a multi-session class or aren't sure if want to commit to one, then this is the perfect class for you. 

Wheel-throwing 101 is a beginner friendly, single day, 2 hour class where you will get to learn the basics of wheel-throwing and throw a few pieces. 

Each student will receive 3 balls of clay to throw with, and will get to choose one piece to have glazed and fired. However you may choose to fire more pieces for an additional cost. Once your piece is ready, you will be notified when you can come pick it up. 

About the Instructor:

Anjali studied ceramics for a year during her time at Soka University of America in Orange County. She quickly fell in love with the art form, and later began teaching classes in San Diego before finding her way to Past Lives Makerspace. Her favorite things to make are teapots that she uses every morning.
