Erin Horgan Corrales
I am a multidisciplinary artist who has spent the past decade creating art after a career in public policy. Working primarily in ceramics and fiber, I create functional pottery, sculptural forms, and woven art. My artistic background is in ceramics, sculpture, fiber art, and painting. My work is inspired by the organic textures and colors of nature and explores themes of self-expression and finding one's voice, as well as current socio-political issues. I have shown and sold my work in Portland, San Francisco, and Sacramento, California. As a teacher, it's my hope to bring an approachable, lighthearted, and interactive style to learning. With more years of teaching experience than I like to admit, I hope to encourage you to experiment, ask questions, and embrace the creative process. I truly enjoy sharing both the art and science of ceramics, helping you to build skills, explore possibilities, and discover the joy of working (and playing!) with clay.
