How to Launch your Creative Business - 8/10/24

Come learn the step by step process of how to launch your business alongside fellow entrepreneurs and independent creators, and follow along if you're ready! 

This workshop will cover the following topics: 

• Business structures: identify the different business structures, their legal and tax implications, and decide which works best for your circumstances.
• State ordinances: learn why some corporations file in different states, and about the benefits that come with registering your business in the state of Oregon.
• Business plans: define the components of a business plan, decide which are relevant to you, and begin outlining your BP draft (or bring your current draft!)
• Workshop: follow along on the step-by-step guide to legally register your business, obtain your EIN, open a business bank account, and research relevant financial and legal assistance.

This workshop provides you with direct access to a business consultant for answers to burning questions you may have, and a network of like-minded creatives and business owners in the process of committing to their passions.

It is the 2nd of 3 separate classes in launching a creative business- it's not required to take them all, nor do you have to take them in order. The 1st class is “Build a Brand Workshop”, and the 3rd class is “Content Creation for Business Owners".
